So, apparently, hugging one of your pals can set the world on fire with cheating insinuations. Earlier this month, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were in Florida for the Royal Salute Polo Challenge in Palm Beach, and they were with Harry’s close pal Nacho Figueras, and his family. And apparently, people have an eye on Figueras and Markle.
In a photo surfaced by Star Magazine via InTouch Weekly, we can see the pals hugging, which now people are criticizing for how “cozy” it looked, even though Figueras’ wife was nearby and so was Harry.
Insiders told InTouch Weekly that the interaction “raised some eyebrows at the polo match to see how cozy she got with Nacho. People couldn’t help but notice.”
So, hugging friends is causing controversy with the Sus𝓈ℯ𝓍es? While it is quite the opposite of what many are used to, with Prince William and Kate Middleton keeping the touching to a minimum with friends.
However, the insider did note that the hug “purely platonic.” They added, “Harry and Meghan are very close with Nacho and his family. He’s been a real rock of support and is someone they trust implicitly.”

Now, this isn’t the first time Meghan’s affectionate side has been at the center of controversy, with many previously saying how uncomfortable it made William and Kate.
“Back when Meghan and Harry were living in England it was a big talking point how handsy they were,” the insider said. “Some believed it was bad form for royals to be behaving like this in public and rather unseemly. [But] Meghan has always been physically affectionate, she’s very expressive.” (And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that!)
