Shock Revelation: Amber Heard’s Private Investigator Astounded by Johnny Depp’s Unshakeable Public Support.

The private investigator hired by Amber Heard’s legal team to uncover lies about Johnny Depp admits that he was astounded by the actor’s unwavering support during the abuse allegations.

In his new book, Johnny Depp’s Accidental Fixer, published on July 5, Paul Barresi, 74, recalls interviewing 100 people before Depp’s trial for leaning against his ex-wife, only to discover that the majority of them remained Depp supporters.

Johnny Depp’s large fan base supported the actor as he defended the abuse charges levied against him by ex-wife Amber Heard during their heated defamation trial in Virginia in 2022.

They hailed Depp as a ‘gentleman’s gentleman’ who ‘doesn’t have a malicious bone in his body’, despite the grave allegations levied against him.

Friends of the Pirates of the Caribbean actor allegedly told Barresi that Depp had’respect and admiration for women’, contradicting Heard’s claims that he was physically and mentally violent.

Heard’s team recruited the former private investigator in July 2019 to uncover material that could be relevant in her lawsuit against Depp, indefamation proceedings in the UK and the US.

Barresi, a former adult film actor turned private investigator and Hollywood fixer who has worked with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tom Cruise, and Sylvester Stallone, stated that he was on a ‘unwavering pursuit for the truth’ regarding Depp, even if the results did not align with Heard’s lawyers’ expectations.

Barresi was first retained by Heard’s lawyers in July 2019 to gather information that could be used against Depp ahead of defamation hearings in the UK and the United States.

In 2020, Depp lost a libel case at the High Court in London against a UK tabloid for calling him a ‘wife-beater’. The judge ruled that he had put Heard in dread for her life.

In his new book, ‘Johnny Depp’s Accidental Fixer’, Paul Barresi, 74, reveals his shock at the tremendous amount of support towards the actor amid his legal battle against ex-wife Amber Heard

But back in the US, a second libel trial in Virginia against Heard ruled in Depp’s favor, with a jury awarding him a total of $15million – $10million in compensation and $5million in punitive damages.

Barresi does not specify which case he was working on, only that he was given the instructions to ‘delve into the life and history of Johnny Depp and uncover evidence of his alleged physical abuse towards women’.

He was instructed to gather witness accounts, videos, photos, and any other evidence that could back up Heard’s allegations against Depp.

However, as Barresi began chatting with Depp’s contacts, he discovered that the photograph was more positive than Heard’s lawyers had hoped for.

Brad Furman, the director of the 2018 crime film City of Lies, was among many who challenged some of the charges made against Depp over the years.

In 2017, Gregg Brooks, the film’s location manager, sued the Hollywood star for assault in an unrelated case.

On May 27, 2022, supporters of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard clashed outside the Fairfax County Court House.

The crew member claimed Depp became abusive with him on the set of the film.

Brooks’ personal assistant, Miguel Guittierrez, backed him up, saying Depp promised Brooks $100,000 to punch him in the face before punching him twice in the lower body.

However, Furman disagreed, telling Barresi that the altercation did not become physical and that Depp has ‘always been delightful’.

A set production assistant also described Depp as ‘nice’, while a retired LAPD officer who worked on the film described the fight as ‘minor’.

When Barresi intimated that Depp was violent, model and actress Carre Otis laughed it off, calling it ‘crazy’, he writes in his book.

Olivia Barash, a former child star who worked at the renowned Hollywood nightclub The Viper Room, which Depp controlled in the 1990s, confirmed those thoughts, adding ‘Johnny doesn’t have a cruel bone in his body’.

Richmond Arquette, of the Arquette acting clan, who also worked at the Viper Room, described Depp as ‘a gentleman’s gentleman’.

Barresi expanded his search and spoke with people who had known Depp for years.

They included musician Chuck Weiss, who stated, ‘In my presence, Johnny has always exhibited respect and admiration for women’.

Journalist Seven McDonald rejected Barresi’s attempts to dig out dirt on Depp, claiming she never knew the actor was threatening.

Brooks also alleged Johnny’s ‘intoxication and fury produced a nasty, aggressive and unsafe work environment,’ on the set of City of Lies.

She replied, ‘I don’t think I can help you. Johnny is a kind man. I’ve never seen him act violently; in fact, just the reverse. Johnny Depp is the type who will climb into a drainpipe to save a kitten from drowning.

Jonathan Shaw, a tattoo artist and close friend of Depp, was perhaps the most outspoken in his defense.

He told Barresi, “Johnny is extremely controlled and a superhuman being.”

‘The only thing I would be willing to help that gold- digging w***e (Heard) do is help load the gun she wanted to use to blow her f****** brains out’.

Barresi did give some negative descriptions of Depp.

Journalist Mark Ebner told how Depp threatened to’set (him) on fire’ during a meeting at the Viper Room, which even Barresi describes as a ‘scary prelude’ to Depp’s now-infamous email to his actor buddy Paul Bettany about burning Heard, a detail revealed during the Virginia trial.

The ex-wife of Depp’s close friend Isaac Baruch claimed that Baruch was a’manipulator’ and that he and Depp were ‘birds of a feather’.

Overall, Barresi admired Depp and expressed ‘great empathy for his challenges and accomplishments’.

According to Barresi, his studies helped him comprehend the ‘complexities of his nature’.

Barresi adds, “Through this journey, I aimed to honor our shared humanity by shedding light on the man behind the myths and offering a narrative grounded in genuine understanding and compassion.”
