According to a family source who spoke to People Tuesday, Jessica Biel “was not happy” that her husband, Justin Timberlake, was arrested for driving under the influence in the Hamptons back in June.
The music sensation has “done everything he can” to “make up” for his actions, according to the insider, and he and Biel are “relieved” that the incident is over. He did not elaborate on how he made atonement. Timberlake, 43, ultimately entered a guilty plea to an impaired driving charge in September following multiple court appearances. As part of his plea agreement at the time, he was compelled to apologize outside the courthouse.

His wife, Jessica Biel, was “not happy” about the arrest, a source told Tuesday.
Biel publicly backed her husband from the beginning, despite her personal opinions on the subject. Just one week after his arrest, on June 25, the 42-year-old former member of “7th Heaven” went to Madison Square Garden in New York City to see Timberlake’s Forget Tomorrow World Tour. At the moment, she was spotted having fun in the crowd, singing, dancing, and drinking.
Timberlake reportedly had to make it up to his wife following his arrest.
In September, Timberlake pleaded guilty to a lesser traffic violation charge.
Earlier this year, however, Biel confessed while on “The View” that her marriage is a “work in progress.”
“It’s constantly trying to find the balance, trying to find the time we can connect,” she explained in May.
The family source added to People Tuesday that despite Biel and Timberlake — who tied the knot in 2012 — having been married for a “long time,” they “have to work on their marriage like most couples.”
Despite the drama, Timberlake and Biel are reportedly “committed” to staying married.
An insider added to People, “Jess thinks he’s a wonderful dad.”
“Being working parents is never easy,” the insider admitted before noting, though, that the “SexyBack” singer and “Sinner” alum are “both committed to staying married.”
“Jess thinks he’s a wonderful dad,” the source concluded. “They’re a great team.”
